How we take a site to finished grade

Site evaluation and grading plans

Before we grade, we evaluate the site: existing topography, soil, drainage patterns, and anything in the way. We use GPS construction technology to prepare plans, and our designers build a grading plan that sets elevations, slopes, and drainage while accounting for runoff, erosion control, and access.
Earthwork, compaction, and drainage

Our fleet of dozers, graders, and excavators cuts and fills to the contours in the plan. Then we compact the site for stability and load bearing capacity, which reduces settling over time. Culverts, swales, and stormwater structures go in to spec to prevent standing water and erosion.
Final grading and surface preparation

We fine tune contours and slopes for smooth transitions and proper drainage, then prepare the surface for what comes next, whether that is landscaping or paving.
Quality control and final inspections

Quality checks run through the whole job using modern survey technology and years of field experience. When grading is complete, our project managers and field leaders work with local authorities on inspections for building codes, environmental rules, and safety standards before permits are issued.
